27th June 2010 - Ticker Tape v1.2.0 now available!
This minor release of Ticker Tape
adds the ability to easily configure all aspects of the Ticker Tape Administrator
and Agent from within the software itself, rather than having to edit numerous configuration
files as in previous versions. Additionally, a new 'Live Preview' function allows
you to see the effect of any Agent message bar configuration changes in real-time
as you adjust Agent parameters on the fly.

20th February 2010 - Ticker Tape v1.1.0 now available!
This updated version of Ticker
Tape corrects a number of minor issues with the initial release and increases its
general resilience. A small amount of additional functionality has also been added
following user feedback, specifically the ability to customize some aspects of the
the Agent message, including its font characteristics and the width of the message
bar.

1st November 2009 - BeTrayed v1.1 now available!
A long overdue update to the beta
version I originally released at the end of 2004! The basic functionality is just
about the same as the original version, but it's been virtually re-written internally
and is generally more resilient and better at automatically determining the most
aesthetically pleasing icon to use in the System Tray for any specific application
or document.

10th July 2009 - Ticker Tape v1.0 now available!
Ticker Tape is an easy to use and
intuitive way for Help Desks to quickly and easily 'broadcast' different messages
to users at multiple remote sites in a non-intrusive way.
Great for proactively advising users of system issues and keeping them updated as developments occur, avoiding unnecessary calls to the Help Desk to re-report known issues or query the current status, allowing the Help Desk to carry on servicing the usual stream of incoming 'Business As Usual' calls

12th December 2005 - NALalyse v1.2 now available!
As well as enabling NALalyse to
correctly handle Trees with aliased OUs, this release also adds a little more functionality,
improved reporting and a plethora of minor bug fixes and cosmetic improvements, including;
- The ability to filter the Issue reports by particular issue types
- The ability to save the current application selections for use another time
- Direct hyperlinking from the FIL file reports to Microsoft DLL help or Google
- High-lighting of user specified files on Issues reports
- Even greater resilience, with improved error logging
- Horizontal scroll bars now behave as expected on all reports!
- A multitude of small bug fixes and cosmetic tweaks

1st July 2005 - NALalyse v1.1 now available!
After much work, the next version of
NALalyse is now available for download - along with the expected bug fixes and cosmetic
tweaks, NALalyse v1.1 sports some important enhancements including;
- The ability to NALalyse all the applications in a Tree in just two mouse clicks!
- Improved search tool, including predefined searches such as 'all IP addresses'
- Additional reports, including association detail by user or application
- Identification of even more NAL related issues!

27th November 2004 - BeTrayed! Beta 1 available for download...!
The downloads section
now contains the initial Beta release of BeTrayed!, a small utility to allow the
user to easily launch applications, documents, URLs or folders from their own custom
icons in the System Tray (aka Notification Area)
BeTrayed! is great for system administrators who wish to deploy a standard set of
System Tray shortcuts. Various aspects of BeTrayed!'s behaviour can be controlled,
including whether to allow access to the Help and Exit choices on the right-mouse
pop-up menu.

The old one had been around for quite a while and was beginning to look a bit dated - as well as a fresh look, improvements to how screen shots are viewed have been made!
15th August 2010 - Update to Ticker Tape, v1.2.1, now available!
This minor update
corrects a few small glitches and introduces some additional user requested functionality
including the ability to suppress Agent messages under certain circumstances (when
a full-screen application, such as a PowerPoint presentation, is running, when the
Agent is within particular IP subnet ranges - connected in via a VPN perhaps - and
when a particular marker file is found on the Agent workstation.)
Additionally, any message can now be flagged as an ‘alert’ causing it to flash at the Agent workstations and ‘grab’ the users attention. Potentially useful for quickly advising users of rare - and likely non computer system related - safety or security incidents that may affect them.
